Dr. Newswander born in Utah, began his studies as a pre-med student at Utah State University.

After graduating, he pursued his interest podiatry at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Newswander completed a residency at Carl T. Hayden VA Hospital in Phoenix and opened his own practice in 2003. His research has been featured in numerous medical publications, and in several presentations and lectures around the state.
